1. The "Phygital" Link

Meridian provides the infrastructure to link a physical object to a digital record via NFC technology. While we secure the digital record, Meridian Labs cannot guarantee the physical integrity of the object if the NFC seal has been tampered with or removed.

2. Curator Responsibilities

Institutions and Curators ("Minters") are solely responsible for the accuracy of the metadata they upload.

Meridian Labs does not verify the authenticity of the physical object prior to minting. Our protocol serves as a Record of Custody, not a certificate of expert appraisal, unless signed by a verified third-party expert.

3. Decentralization Disclaimer

The Meridian Protocol runs on a decentralized blockchain. We do not control the network and are not responsible for gas fees, network congestion, or consensus failures that may affect the availability of the service.
